The NEW tammiesprings.com

Hi! Welcome to the new-and-improved tammiesprings.com! I’ve recently gone through and fully rebuilt the site.I built a website recently for my cousin (seventysixtheband.com), that needed to be easily-updateable. I chose to go with WordPress (it came down to WordPress and Textpattern), and I was really happy with the results. I first mocked up the site in Photoshop, then sliced that up and used html and css to make up an index page. Once that was looking good, I took those two files and fed them into a WordPress template.

This seems to be a good way to do things, as I’m now able to crank out a site in a matter of days rather than a matter of weeks. In fact, since building my cousin’s site, I moved on to Ephrata First Baptist Church’s site and rebuilt that using a WordPress backend. Next I moved on to Neighborhood Life Center’s site, and did the same thing. And now, as you can see by this site, I’ve done it again with my site, tammiesprings.com. It took me three days from start to finish to get this site up and running. Not bad considering that I work full time! Needless to say, I’m sold on WordPress!
