Yep! Buchmanns’ Brand-new Baby Boy has now entered the world. :) We’re so excited for Dusty and Kristen! Kristen was due on Tuesday (3/6), so she was rather expecting this. Dusty’s been chomping at the bit to be a father, so he was more than ready. Kristen started having contractions, so they headed up to the hospital, and got there at around 4:10pm. At 4:50, Dakota John Buchmann was born. He’s simply adorable! And I’m so happy for Kristen that it was a super fast labor!
I don’t know about you but I had one CRAZY week! Basically, I’ve got two weeks of finals this quarter, and it just seemed like everything happened all at once (isn’t that how it always is?). I had a final test on Tuesday night, then a 12-page paper plus a speech due on Thursday night. I ended up staying home from work on Wed and Thurs, trying to get all I need to do – done for school. Man will I be happy when this quarter is over! I’ve got one more test next Thursday, then I’ll have a week or so off before starting Spring quarter.
Margie Lou is considering going to Corbin college next year, so I’ll be taking a trip over to Ephrata, then on to Salem, Oregon on my Spring Break. I have to say that since I work full time, Spring Break doesn’t really mean as much. :) That’s why I’m taking a few days off. Should be fun – getting to hang with my sis!

For my birthday, I decided to buy a new domain name (it simply mirrors tjsprings.com), so now you don’t have to remember anything but my name in order to get to my site. I was hoping to have the new site live by my birthday (Feb 23 – I’m 26 now for those of you keeping track), but as you can tell I didn’t quite make it! I’ve been just a little bit busy with school and work.
Margie Lou finished out her junior college basketball career today… Her team is out of the playoffs for the NWAACC, but she played really well. Yesterday she had a triple-double. I think that was probably one of the best games of her career!
