Well yesterday was Day 3 of our San Diego trip. We figured out the transit system enough to take us from Hotel #1 to Hotel #2, and then back downtown and back. Day tripper passes on the transit system cost $5, so I think we got our money’s-worth! :)

Tobin’s conference started yesterday. It was just a half day, then he’s got a full day today. During his conference, I read a book by the pool and also swam some laps. I actually got a bit of sun yesterday and am a bit burned… Oh well. I’m hoping it will turn into a tan. :)

After the conference, we met Tobin’s coworkers downtown for a happy hour in the Gaslamp quarter. That’s a cool part of town! I think we’ll have to check it out again tonight.

OK, I’m off to explore. I found the Fry’s here and am going to try to go buy an Otter Box for Tobin’s camera. I hear we’re supposed to go kayaking tomorrow…
