So the last post caught you up on what we did 2 weekends ago, but what about last weekend? Well last weekend was spent in EPHRATA (you know, the most AWESOME place on earth!). :)
I should go back and say that August 5-10, Tobin was GONE at camp. You have to understand that this is about the one time a year that we’re separated for any length of time. What did I do while he was gone you ask?
Well besides work, work, work (I’ve been doing a ton of stuff at work), I also worked on a website, and cleaned the house - THE ENTIRE HOUSE. Yep, the house twas spotless when Tobin got home. (And boy was he surprised.) I’ve been reading Fly Ladies off and on, and finally just decided to do a massive clean. So now we’re looking for a twin bunk bed or loft bed to put in the laundry room - so we can actually have people crash at our place (instead of forcing them to sleep on the couch or the beanbag!). lol
Anyways… Tobin got back on Friday, and about as soon as he came home I marched him right back out the door and into the car, and we headed off to Ephrata. :) We got there around 9 I think. Everyone (M&D, Stephen, Heather, ML and Kevin) had been out on Moses with the Cat (jealous!). We ate dinner (thanks to Heather’s tacos), the boys played on the 360, and then we all went to sleep.
Saturday we made our customary pilgrimage to WalMart, then loaded up the boat, and headed up to Banks. Did I mention that Kevin has a Ski Doo? See we have multiple reasons to like him! ;) We launched at Banks, and quickly got Tobin out on the tube. ML & Kevin enjoyed jumping our wake on the jet ski. Then we ate lunch and headed in to anchor at our normal spot. The sun was out and it was beautiful! We played in about
2-3 feet of water - keep away mostly with the frisbee, and then we just passed around a football. I did get eaten up again, but not as bad as last time. We must’ve spent several hours there, anchored in by the shore. When we left, we basically headed back to the boat launch (pulling Tobin on the tube of course). ML and Kevin had lots of fun spraying Tobin with the wake from the jet ski. lol I got some good pics. :)
When we got home on Saturday ni
ght, we ate dinner, then headed out to the backyard to watch the meteor shower. That was cool. I saw some really neat ones!
Sunday we went to church, then booked it back to Tukwila as Tobin’s brother, Peter was in town. Peter proposed to his girlfriend, Lisa, on Sunday night and she said yes! Looks
like they’ll be getting married at the beginning of December. How exciting! So Tobin really wanted to meet with Peter and talk. We ended up going to Red Robin with Peter and his friend. That was fun. Then Tobin took Peter to the airport.

Kevin made the five hour trek down to Oregon with me. I followed him in my probe, chock full of everything I could think to take with me. And then I unpacked it all into my townhouse room!
