The first Thursday of the month is free night at the Seattle Art Museum, so Tobin and I headed up to Seattle and checked it out (another art field trip for his Master’s class).
No photography (grrrr - HATE that!), but it was OK. There was some cool PNW art. I don’t really care much for modern art (no comparison to super-detailed lifelike paintings), so once we ended up in that part of the museum we hightailed it out of there. But not before Tobin got in trouble for using a pen to take some notes on a brochure we’d picked up. (What is it with these blue-shirted people?)
Anyways, after our time at the museum, we decided to get something to eat. We walked to Pike Place Market and ate in a little restaurant over the shops. I had salmon (pretty good), and Tobin had fish and chips (his frys were wonderful!). After dinner we walked around a bit and took some shots. (That’s one of my faves, above.)
