Birthday Pics
So I had a birthday last month (if you haven’t noticed, I’ve been so busy with Tobin’s National Board that I haven’t had a chance to update my website for quite some time). I turned 27 – starting to feel old. At least I’m not in my 30’s – yet (like Tobin). :)
For my birthday, Tobin took me up to Seattle and we went to the EMP. It was cool though by the end my feet were killing as he made me wear my boots. I liked the guitar exhibit the best, the Jimmy Hendrix display least (they don’t actually have a display it’s more of a shrine and I didn’t like that at all – felt a little too much like idol worship), and was actually surprised by the quality of the Science Fiction Museum. It seemed to have more than the EMP and it took up a fraction of the room.
We went to dinner at a little Italian restaurant. It was nice.
All of this was actually on the day before my birthday (a Friday) – which was a good thing, ’cause Tobin woke up the next morning sick. We went to Nordstrom’s Rack and he threw up outside into a garbage can. Fun stuff. So my actual birthday was actually pretty quiet – but the day before was a lot of fun.
I’m glad you got to go out. Tobin threw up on your b-day, classic! I thought about ya because you and Rich share a b-day, and guess what else…you two share the birthday with Kevin Geer. He’s the Northwest A/G Children’s Director :-) I know like almost 30 people with Feb birthdays, it’s CRAZY!
This was a fun day! Now that your done helping me with my NB its REALLY going to be a party around here! :)
I’m glad the day before your birthday was fun for you! You deserve a break after all the work you and Tobin have put in to NB. I hope this weekend (a.k.a. your anniversary) holds more relaxation than you’ll know what to do with!
